Emerald Ash Borer

The Emerald Ash Borer is an exotic species of beetle that was discovered in South Eastern Michigan in the summer of 2002. The beetle larvae feed on the inner bark of the trees and disrupt its ability to transport nutrients. This will result in the canopy of the tree thinning out.
